The first human being that managed to communicate her ideas effectively must have blown some minds. After all, how can a random sequence of curves, mixed with lines and parabolas, have a specific sound? How can the amalgam of these certain sounds convey ideas and thoughts? How can the idea I am communicating manifest itself in the exact form that I want it to in your mind? Was the first indication of vocal communication even a sign of the evolution of intelligence or just a disgruntled noise for food?
